I attended the 2010 Falling Leaf Rally this weekend and partook in the GS/gravel road ride. After Lunch in Bixby, MO 5 of us decided to take in a few more gravel roads instead of taking tarmac back to the rally grounds.
I must say the part I like the best is my feet pointing toward the sky. It would seem I have a thing for low water bridges, this is twice in as many months. No harm done that a few zip ties couldn't fix.
See you on the road or in the creek.

Nice video! I think that I'd have to agree about the feet pointed skywards. What broke? It was kind of difficult to tell with the speeded up repair video...
Richard
I agree, nice video. Looks like you have one of those Bobskoot ABS tripod tubes. That fits pretty nice on your bike and looks handy.
@Richard: I have a tool tube made from a PVC pipe and one of the mounting points broke, I ended up using 8 zip-ties to go 2 times around the tube and rack brace. I think the zip-tie are stronger than the metal strap. When I replace the strap I will probably leave the zip-ties just in-case... I have changed my Facebook and ADVrider photo to the feet in the air, may do so here also, don't think I have ever changed it...
@Mike: The tube works great, I'm able to keep all the tools to change a tube out on the road, plus a pretty good tool kit (with pink zip-ties). The inner tubes are to big to fit in the PVC tube.
I'm glad all ended well. Never leave home without the zip ties (and duct tape and...)
Nice vid!
Looks like you were having a great time even if the bike decided to nap. (must have just been tired). Thanks for sharing.
@bluekat: luckly zip ties did it for me as I as lacking the gray stuff..
@Trobairitz: It was a great time, even laying down in the creek wasn't to bad.
I am way behind on reading blogs. So forgive me if you posted it and I haven't seen it.
How is your shoulder from the June or July dirt bike crash?
@irondad: You haven't missed much here. The shoulder is doing well. I have tested it a couple of times now in the same manner as the video above. The testing is easy, telling the wife is painful. :)
